Native American Sports Mascots
This article touched on the positive and negative sides of having Native Americans as mascots. On the side that agreed with having Native American mascots argued that the Native American's stood for strength, and if the mascot were to go then the schools would loss money, and many people will be upset in the change of tradition. The part that touched on not using Native American's as mascots said that using Native Americans as mascots is racist and discriminating against the group of people.

This article is from a Native American website. On this website Native American's are outraged about the use of the stereotypical images of Native Americans as mascots. They reference sports teams like the Cleveland Indians who use a red faced Native American as their mascot.
